After serving five years in the Army during Desert Storm, he pivoted to a career in nursing, becoming a Registered Nurse specializing in the care of premature infants. It was in the unpredictable and often chaotic environment of the hospital that "G" discovered the natural comedy of life — and the healing power of laughter.
His comedic journey began in the thriving comedy clubs of Atlanta, where he quickly gained recognition for his quick wit and unique perspective. His transition from nursing to comedy was so remarkable that it earned him a feature in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The article sparked interest from several nursing organizations, leading to "G" being booked as an icebreaker comic at nursing conferences across the country. His ability to blend humor with real-life stress relief has made him a sought-after act in both the comedy and healthcare worlds.
After four successful years honing his craft in Atlanta, "G" set his sights on new challenges and relocated to Northern California's San Francisco Bay Area. There, he hit the ground running, making waves in the competitive Bay Area comedy scene with his sharp observations and relatable humor.
